Extract PDF Pages

Pick the pages you want and save them as a new PDF.

Select pages visually by clicking thumbnails, or type a range like "1-3, 5". The chosen pages are combined into a new PDF you can download. Runs entirely in your browser, nothing uploaded.

Click page thumbnails to toggle them on or off, use "Select all" to grab every page, or type a comma-separated range like "1-3, 5" into the range field to choose pages by number. Once you're happy with the selection, click Extract to download a single new PDF containing just those pages, in their original order.

Common mistakes

  • Expecting several output files — Extract always produces one PDF with the selected pages; for multiple separate files, use Split PDF instead.
  • Typing a page number beyond the document's page count into the range field — out-of-range numbers are silently ignored rather than flagged, so double-check the extracted page count.
  • Assuming the order pages were clicked determines their order in the output — pages always keep their original document order, regardless of selection order.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from Split PDF?

Extract lets you cherry-pick individual pages by clicking; Split is oriented around ranges and fixed-size chunks.

Can I select pages that aren't next to each other?

Yes. Click any combination of thumbnails, or type a range like "1-3, 7, 10-12" — the pages don't need to be consecutive.

Does the order I click pages in matter?

No. Whatever order you select pages in, they're saved in their original page order in the output PDF.

Is there a limit to how many pages I can extract?

There's no fixed limit — you can extract anywhere from a single page up to the entire document. Very large PDFs may take longer since everything runs in your browser.

What happens if I type an invalid page range?

Any numbers outside the document's page count are ignored automatically, so the tool only selects the pages that actually exist.
