Merge PDF
Combine several PDF files into one, in the order you choose.
Join multiple PDFs into a single document. Add your files, drag them into the right order, and download the merged PDF. Everything happens in your browser — your files are never uploaded to a server.
Add two or more PDF files using the file picker — each one appears in a numbered list. Use the ↑ and ↓ buttons next to a file to move it up or down, since the merged PDF follows exactly the order shown in the list. Once the order looks right, click Merge PDFs and the combined file downloads automatically.
Common mistakes
- Forgetting to reorder files first — pages merge in the exact list order shown, not by upload time or filename.
- Trying to merge a password-protected or encrypted PDF — that isn't supported and will show an error; remove the password first.
- Expecting to edit or delete individual pages here — this tool merges whole files; use the split or organize PDF tool for page-level changes.
Frequently asked questions
Are my PDFs uploaded anywhere?
No. Merging happens entirely in your browser using JavaScript; your files never leave your device.
Can I reorder the files before merging?
Yes. Use the ↑ and ↓ buttons next to each file to change its position — the final PDF follows that exact order.
Does this work with password-protected PDFs?
No. Encrypted or password-protected PDFs can't be read in the browser and will cause an error; remove the password with a PDF reader first, then merge.
Is there a file size or page limit?
There's no hard limit, but since everything is processed on your device, very large files depend on your device's memory and browser.
Does merging reduce quality?
No. Pages are copied as-is with no re-encoding or compression, so quality stays unchanged.
